I Am NOT the Property of the State

English: The Bill of Rights, the first ten ame...

Today’s Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) decision regarding the so-called Affordable Health Care Act is why this nation’s founders firmly declared that our rights come from our Creator and are not subject to the oft ill-conceived whim of any individual or group of people. Those groups include the SCOTUS.

If the government can require Americans to purchase things, then there is no limit to its control of our personal private property. We have seen, time and again, that the federal government – particularly this administration and its elected supporters -
will use any available method to coerce the American people. This would effectively end personal property.
The end of personal property is the beginning of slavery. This ruling means that individuals can be taxed into submission to the state.
That the SCOTUS was willing to consider the mandate as a tax to make it fit within the now-grossly-distorted confines of the United States Constitution, is outrageous. That this abomination of liberty-killing legislation ever passed is solely on the heads of Democrats in Congress. They are my sworn enemy and I will not forget.
I am NOT the property of the state and November is coming. I will make the Statists pay and ballots will flow like blood on November 6th. It is ON!

The Second Democrats' Lie About Voter Fraud Refuted

Previously in this series: The First Democrats' Lie About Voter Fraud Refuted

While it's not necessary to read the previous installment in this series, it will help with some background information. There are two states, Georgia and Indiana, that currently have photo voter ID. So why do Democrats not refer to the actual vote results? I'm a native Georgian and a current resident of the Peach State, so I'll refer to Georgia's voter ID law that has already been tried and tested.

Lie #2a: Voter fraud does not exist . . .

Not so fast. According to Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp, hundreds of voter fraud cases are prosecuted in Georgia alone every year. Just one month ago 12 Democrats in Brooks County, Georgia, were charged with committing voter fraud using absentee ballots in 2010.

Democrats will, I'm sure, point out that photo voter doesn't help with absentee ballot fraud; completely overlooking clear proof that the desire to commit voter fraud exists. And, knowing the desire exits, would we make the mistake of believing that those who would steal elections would stop at absentee ballots?

So what was the beginning of catching the Democrats? Officials reviewed the high number of absentee ballots cast in the election. Without real voter ID requiring a photo ID, more of the fraud would have been committed face-to-face with no way to stop it. An ID is required to pick up an absentee ballot from the Registrar's office.

The First Democrats' Lie About Voter Fraud Refuted

- The facts you need to argue the case for Photo Voter ID, Part One -

There are things that Democrats want you to believe about voter fraud and about the drive for photo voter ID laws by the states. Are any of those things true? In a word: No.

To date, eight states have passed photo voter ID laws. I live in Georgia, one of two states that has conducted elections under the law. The numbers and facts destroy the arguments of the progressives.

The reality of life under a photo voter ID is very different from the self-serving helping of fear-mongering Democrats have manufactured. Briefly, here is the first lie, followed by the truth.

Lie #1: Photo Voter ID is discriminatory and will suppress all votes, but especially minority votes.

The Truth is in the numbers: Compare the Georgia vote levels of the 2004 and 2008 elections and the 2006 and 2010 elections. The more recent election of each pair used the new voter ID laws. If the Democrats had been right, vote totals for both minorities and whites would be lower. After Georgia implemented its new voter identification requirements, the number of votes cast increased across the racial spectrum, but increased the most among minorities.

Fear of a Tea Party Planet

- Why the Democratic National Committee wants to co-opt the Occupy Wall Street Protesters -

Why would former US House Speaker and legislative airhead Nancy Pelosi go out of her way to embrace the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) protesters? Why would civil rights movement icon John Lewis attempt to address the OWS group in Atlanta’s Woodruff Park? Why would President Obama praise these groups even after hundreds were arrested in New York City?

These are legitimate questions because of the significant political risks undertaken by these nationally known Democrats. They risk their personal reputations, if not their re-election chances, to mingle their fortunes with an little known group of protesters. They are also placing their party’s lower tier candidates at greater risk with this affiliation. Generally a high risk should have an opportunity to generate high rewards, and this is the case. Democrats are playing high stakes poker to counter the Tea Party.

Publicly, Democrats deny that the Tea Party had any effect on the 2010 elections and will soon disappear. No one really believes Democrats are that stupid and recalcitrant regarding reality. Having failed to destroy the Tea Party movement, though slandering it so that the movement’s popularity has decreased, the Democrats want a left-wing movement to counter the Tea Party.

Democrats and the Art of Doing Nothing

Democrats have raised doing nothing to its highest form of art. If one steps back and simply looks - with a nonpartisan eye - at what they haven't done and the elegance with which they have not done it; it's amazing. And now Democrats proclaim that doing nothing has won them a US House seat in New York.

Poor Representative Paul Ryan (R-WI)! He thought the way to get ahead was to work on budgets that would realistically resolve our debt crisis with the least possible pain to the economy. Apparently it doesn't work that way, but he still gets the blame.

Congressman Paul Ryan
We all know that entitlements have to be reformed. In fact, while Democrats were leisurely doing as little as possible, they did take the time to criticize Republicans for not taking on entitlements because the entitlement programs are such a large part of the budget. In fact the Democrats, when they could be bothered, ridiculed the earlier GOP budget reform plans as "not serious" because social security, medicare and medicaid were not the focus of those new budget plans.

Let us take a moment and recall the 2010 budget when Democrats controlled both houses of Congress and the White House. That budget was a masterpiece of the current Democrat strategy. It was flawless; it angered almost no one and allowed Democrats to continue spending money like a Kennedy while not a one of them had to commit to a vote. That's right; there was no vote because there was no budget. Yes, yes, I know the law requires a budget, but when the media holds you harmless for doing nothing, why buck the trend?
